Holidays at Juniper: From December Parties to New Year's Eve Dinner in Austin
In the last weeks of the year, we host a lot of different celebrations, from company parties in our upstairs Private Dining Room to family dinners in the main dining room. Every December 31, we close out the year with a prix fixe New Year's Eve dinner in Austin, and we'd love for you to join us.
New Year's Eve Dinner at Juniper
On New Year's Eve, our kitchen puts together a prix fixe tasting menu for that night alone, served in place of our usual menu. If you haven't eaten with us before, our a la carte menu is a good look at how Executive Chef Sterling Ridings and the team cook the rest of the year.
This year, New Year's Eve falls on a Thursday, and reservations for our NYE dinner open in early November on OpenTable. If the last night of the year is one you'd like to spend with us, that's the time to book.
Holiday Parties at Juniper
If you're looking for a holiday party venue in Austin, we'd be glad to host yours. Our second-floor Private Dining Room gives your group a room of its own, away from the main dining room. The space accommodates up to 50 guests seated or 75 standing.
When the guest list outgrows the room upstairs, or the whole company is coming, a full buyout gives you all of Juniper for the night, so guests can move between the courtyard, the main dining room and the Private Dining Room as the evening goes on. And if a daytime gathering suits your team better, we host luncheons too.
Everything served at your party comes from our own kitchen, and our beverage menu gives you a feel for what we pour, from an Italian-leaning wine list to cocktails and zero-proof options. Smaller Holiday Dinners
Plenty of holiday dinners are small ones, like parents in town for the week or a few friends getting together before everyone scatters for the holidays. For a table of eight or more in the main dining room, give us a call at (512) 220-9421 and we'll get you set up.
For six or fewer, the Chef's Counter is a good fit. Sterling and the team cook six courses that aren't on the regular menu, and you're seated right at the counter facing the open kitchen while they do. It's $120 per person, with an optional wine pairing, and you can book it on OpenTable under Experiences.
Juniper Gift Cards
If you're looking at restaurant gift cards in Austin, a Juniper gift card gives someone a dinner out to look forward to in the new year, whether it's a thank-you to a client or a gift for someone who's hard to shop for. They're available online through Toast, and since our menus are online too, whoever receives one can start planning what they'll order.
Holiday Hours
We're closed on a few dates during the 2026 holiday season, so if you're planning a Friendsgiving or an early holiday dinner with us, book around these:
- Thanksgiving week, November 23 to 26: Closed for new kitchen renovations. We reopen Friday, November 27.
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24 and 25: Our annual closure. We reopen December 26.
